About me and business opportunities.
After many years of looking for a business that I could work for out of my home, I really thought that it was only a dream that would never become a reality. I wanted to find work that allowed me to stay home with my kids. I didn't want to have to worry about finding reliable people to help " raise" my children for me while I had to go to a job that would just cover my daycare costs and miss out on important things that mattered to me. I pretty much came to the conclusion that sooner or later having to go out and get a 9 to 5 job would become my reality.
Well, one day at a family cookout, I made a decision to once again try yet another home business. But something was different this time. In the past, the first opportunity for a home based business that sounded to good to be true, I jumped right in. Only to have wasted my money and time. After a couple of days with these "other" companies I would realize that it just was NOT for me. I was spending countless hours on the web trying to figure out what to do next. It seemed like I always was pulling out the credit cards to purchase something else that was a necessity to build a business.
Well, long story short, I never got anywhere, except further in debt. So, back to the cookout. My husbands aunt came in to the house with a box of candles. Being a candle lover myself I had my nose right in the box. With the intention of purchasing one of these great smelling candles. I asked her where she got these candles that I had never heard of, and she said that she had signed up with a lady from the internet. Right away a RED FLAG went up in my head. Thinking, oh great not one of these again. I could sense that my husband was looking over my shoulder to stop me from making yet another bad decision. I had made him promise me that he would not allow me to get attempt another business venture. But the candles were so great, the scents just sold themselves. So instead of signing up right that moment, I took the information home and did some homework on the company, and their products.
A couple days went by, and I still had not made any drastic decisions. The nice thing was that no one was calling my home everyday trying to get me to join their business with a great offer that expired at midnight if I didn't sign up on the spot. So, a week went by and I decided to join in on one of the companies "Opportunity Calls" that they held a couple nights per week. I called the number thinking that it was going to be one of those recordings that give you some general information, and without talking to anybody, them expecting you to pull out your plastic, and sign up that moment. Well, I was amazed when I called the number, and on the other end there were actual people talking among themselves. This was a first! So, now they have my attention. For about 30 minutes I listened to a lady tell her life story, and how this business had changed her life. Along with the other 1000 people listening on the call. The great thing about the call was that they were not trying to take my money. They were there to give a true life story on how they took a leap of faith and to let people know that " For things to change, you have to change, for things to get better, you have to get better". And that Quote really struck me. So, lets see, real people, real product, real life stories. Real life changing potential. They were talking to people on the call, one first name basis, they were asking and answering questions to the other "potential thinkers" that were on the call. And the thing that I loved about this company the most, was that I did not have to email for questions that I had and wait for days to get a response. I did not feel alone. I wasn't. Not to mention, once you signed up, you had a great product ready to be distributed the moment it arrived at your door.About 3 days to get your business in your home and in other peoples hands that very same day. I was sold! And this time I felt good about making the decision to try and better my life.
My experience with this company has been nothing but WONDERFUL. The products are great, the people are great, and the support is outstanding. Now in the morning I wake up with a goal in mind.
